What is this reading pillow made of?

The cover of this reading pillow is soft, comfy and durable velour. The filling of this pillow is a blend of CertiPUR-US certified shredded memory foam and support foam so it keeps its loft longer, is less likely to shift, and doesn't clump. It also allows for better airflow and can be molded for personalize comfort.

Can this pillow provide free standing support or does it need to be propped against a wall or headboard?

This pillows shredded memory foam filling allows it to be molded to provide support where you need. It can provide free standing support, especially for children and for adults when the foam is molded to match the way you are using it. For maximum support, we recommend using it up against a firm surface, such as a headboard or wall.

What is the difference between standard and extra large, and extra large with neck support?

The X-large reading pillow is larger with a height of 24-inches instead of the standard 18-inches, and a width of 14-inches between arms instead of the standard 10-inches. The X-large with neck support has the same dimensions as the X-large pillow, but has an attached neck support pillow to provide support and comfort for your neck. Any size option can be used by adults, but either of the X-large size options is designed more for adults.

Is this pillow machine washable?

This reading pillow is not machine washable. However, if you need to clean it we recommend spot cleaning it with a damp cloth and mild detergent.

Can I purchase the neck support pillow separately if I want one with the standard size pillow?

No. We do not offer a neck pillow option to be purchased separately. The neck pillow is attached to the X-large pillow w/ neck support pillow option, and is not able to be removed.
